What is Pocket Power App?

Pocket Power is a free holistic wellness app that helps you improve your mind, body and nutrition through guided daily support. It brings together everything you need for lasting change: a psychology-driven programme, a habit tracker, fitness and meal planning tools, mindfulness resources and access to our supportive community, the Pocket Power Tribe.

At the heart of the app is your Power Pathway, a follow-along programme that walks you step by step through each stage of your journey. You’ll learn how your habits, thoughts, activity and nutrition all connect and how to make small, consistent changes that lead to big results.

Pocket Power also includes PAPi, your in-app AI guide, offering personal support whenever you need it. Whether you want to feel healthier, calmer, stronger or more in control of your life, Pocket Power gives you the tools and guidance to get there, without cost, pressure or confusion.

What’s included in a Pocket Power subscription?

Every feature on Pocket Power is completely free; you have full access to everything from your Power Pathway and habit tracker to your meal plans, workout studio, meditations and community. Nothing is locked behind a paywall.

For those who prefer an ad-free experience, we do offer an optional Pocket Power subscription at £9.99 per month. This simply removes ads from your journey, creating a calmer, uninterrupted space to focus on your wellbeing.

Whether you choose the free version or go ad-free, you’ll always have access to every feature, every update and every bit of support Pocket Power offers, because progress should never come with a price tag.

Why is Pocket Power Free?

Pocket Power is free because it was created by two people who know what it’s like to need help but not be able to afford it. Our founders, Jessica Revell and Gareth Prior, have both faced their own challenges with mental health, self-worth and physical wellbeing. Through their lived experience and professional expertise, they realised that real change doesn’t come from privilege, it comes from understanding, support and access.

They wanted to create the kind of help they wished they’d had when they needed it most; something that combined professional knowledge with genuine care, without the price tag that puts so many people off getting started.

That’s why Pocket Power is free. Every feature, every tool and every piece of guidance is available to everyone, because everyone deserves the chance to feel better. regardless of their background or bank balance.

There’s no catch, no upsell and no pressure. Just the opportunity to learn, grow and create lasting change at your own pace. Because your health, happiness and hope should never come with a cost.

Where should I get started once I download the app?

Once you’ve downloaded Pocket Power, the best place to start is with your Power Pathway. This is your guided programme that walks you through every stage of your journey. You’ll begin by listening to your introduction, which explains what to expect and how to get the most from the app.

From there, your Power Pathway will guide you through a three-day countdown to get physically, mentally and practically prepared. You’ll be encouraged to set up your meal plan, get familiar with the recipes, stock your kitchen staples, create your physical activity plan, build your focus board and enter your health metrics, all at your own pace.

When your Day One arrives, Pocket Power will begin guiding you through your programme one day at a time. You’ll start building small, sustainable habits using your daily trackers, activity planner and wellbeing tools. As you grow and learn, the app grows and learns with you, adapting to your progress, supporting your goals and helping you stay on track. And whenever you’d like a little extra help or guidance, PAPi, your Pocket Power AI, is always there to support you.

There’s no rush, no pressure, and no “perfect start.” Just follow your Power Pathway and let Pocket Power guide you, one day, one step, one choice at a time.

How do I cancel?

You can cancel your subscription at any time directly within the app. Simply go to your Profile, tap on the Support page and select Cancel Subscription.

If you’re on the paid subscription, cancelling will simply switch you back to the free version once your current payment period ends. You’ll keep your progress, your Power Pathway and all your features, just with ads enabled again. If you’re on the free subscription, cancelling will delete your account completely, along with all saved data and progress.

At Pocket Power, we believe in freedom of choice; no contracts, no hidden fees and no barriers. You can return whenever you’re ready and Pocket Power will always be ready to welcome you back.

How are food, physical activity and mental health linked?

Your mind, body and nutrition are all connected; you can’t work on one without affecting the others. This is what we call the three pillars of health and together they create the foundation for how you feel, think and function each day.

When you’re mindful, you start to recognise your thought patterns, emotions and reactions more clearly. This awareness helps you respond with understanding instead of impulse, making space for healthier choices, whether that’s in how you eat, move or speak to yourself.

What is meditation?

It isn’t about sitting cross-legged for hours or trying to stop your thoughts completely; it’s about learning to observe them, without pressure or judgement.

At its core, meditation helps you reconnect with yourself. Whether that’s through breathing exercises, guided sessions or simply taking a quiet moment with a cup of tea, meditation creates space for your mind to rest and reset. It can help ease stress, improve focus, lift your mood and strengthen emotional resilience.

What kind of exercise is best and how much do I really need?

The best kind of exercise is the one you enjoy because when you enjoy it, you’ll keep doing it. Physical activity isn’t about pushing yourself to extremes or spending hours in the gym. It’s about moving your body in ways that feel good and support your health, both physically and mentally.

Regular movement helps to maintain bone density, build and preserve muscle mass and keep your heart and lungs strong. It improves circulation, boosts energy and supports your immune system. But beyond the physical, exercise plays a huge role in your emotional wellbeing too, lifting your mood, reducing stress and improving sleep and focus.

You’ll create your own Physical Activity Plan inside the app, making it easy to set goals and structure your week in a way that works for you. Each time you move, you can log your sessions in the Activity Log to track your progress, stay motivated and celebrate how far you’ve come.

There’s no single “right” way to move. It's about finding what makes you feel alive and balanced. As a guide, aim for at least 30 minutes of movement most days but remember, something is always better than nothing. Even a ten-minute walk, a quick stretch, or a few mindful movements can make a real difference. The key is consistency, not intensity. Pocket Power helps you build a routine you actually enjoy, so movement becomes part of your life, not another chore on your to-do list.

How can I tell which foods are right for me?

Understanding what foods work best for your body isn’t about strict diets or cutting out entire food groups. It's about learning to listen to how your body responds. Every one of us is different and the foods that make one person feel great might leave another feeling tired, bloated or low in mood.

Inside Pocket Power, you’ll find a unique approach to food that focuses on awareness, not restriction. When you log your meals, you’ll also log how you feel both physically and emotionally. By tracking symptoms like bloating, tiredness, or mood dips, you can use the symptom tracker to spot patterns and start understanding which foods truly support your body and which ones may be causing discomfort or inflammation.

Your Power Pathway will gently guide you through making small, purposeful changes to the foods you eat, not to chase weight loss, but to improve gut health, balance energy and support a stronger mind–body connection. As your gut health improves, everything else starts to fall into place; better mood, more focus, improved energy and yes, natural weight management as a healthy side effect.

Pocket Power also gives you practical support through the Meal Planner and Recipe Menu, filled with simple, family-friendly favourites for breakfast, lunch, dinner and dessert. You can plan your week’s meals, one-click save recipes to your planner and automatically add ingredients to your shopping basket, making healthy eating realistic and stress-free.
