Teacher Terms of Service

Effective date: 16 May 2026 · Last updated: 16 May 2026

These Teacher Terms of Service set out the terms that apply to all Teachers who create, upload, share or submit content through the Pocket Power platform.

By applying to become a Teacher, creating a Teacher profile, submitting content, or using any Teacher functionality within Pocket Power, you agree to these Terms.

These Terms apply between:

Pocket Power App Ltd
Registered in England and Wales
Registered Office: 1386 London Road, Leigh-on-Sea, Essex, SS9 2UJ
referred to as “Pocket Power”, “we”, “us” or “our”

and

the individual creating or submitting content as a Teacher, referred to as “Teacher”, “you” or “your”.

These Terms replace any previous Resident Teacher Agreement or individual teacher arrangement unless otherwise agreed in writing by Pocket Power.

1. Purpose of the Teacher Programme

Pocket Power is a wellness platform offering support across physical health, mental wellbeing, nutrition, personal growth and community.

The Teacher Programme allows approved Teachers to share audio and video content within the Pocket Power app across areas including The Studio, Remedy Rooms and The Kitchen.

The purpose of the Teacher Programme is to give users access to high-quality, supportive, educational and wellbeing-focused content while allowing Teachers to build visibility, grow a following and share their work with the Pocket Power community.

Teachers are not employees, agents, representatives or partners of Pocket Power. Teachers remain independent content creators using the Pocket Power platform to share approved content with users.

2. Teacher Account, Profile and Approval

To become a Teacher within Pocket Power, you must create and maintain a Pocket Power account and complete your Teacher profile.

Your Teacher profile must include accurate, complete and up-to-date information, including any relevant details about your experience, qualifications, professional background, content category and payment information.

You are responsible for ensuring that all profile information remains accurate at all times.

Before you are able to publish content as a Teacher, you must submit your first audio or video content for approval.

During the initial approval period, you can continue to use Pocket Power as an app user, but you will not be able to upload or publish Teacher content until your first submission has been reviewed and approved.

Once your first content submission has been approved, your Teacher profile and approved content can become visible within the app.

Pocket Power reserves the right to reject any Teacher profile, content submission or application that does not meet the standards of the platform.

3. Content Submission and Review

All Teacher content must be submitted through the approved Pocket Power upload process.

Every new piece of content submitted by a Teacher will go through review before it becomes visible within the app.

Pocket Power reviews submitted content within five business days.

Content will not go live until it has been approved.

If content is rejected, the Teacher will be given the opportunity to amend and resubmit the content for further review.

Pocket Power can reject content where it does not meet these Terms, does not meet content standards, raises safety concerns, contains unsuitable material, infringes third-party rights, promotes prohibited material, or is not aligned with the values and purpose of the Pocket Power platform.

Approval of one piece of content does not guarantee approval of future content.

4. Content Areas

Teachers can upload approved audio and video content within the relevant areas of Pocket Power, including:

The Studio

This area is for movement, fitness, exercise, yoga, physical activity and body-based content.

Remedy Rooms

This area is for wellbeing, personal growth, mindset, emotional support, mindfulness, meditation, breathwork, education and reflective content.

The Kitchen

This area is for food, nutrition, recipes, cooking, healthy eating, meal inspiration and practical kitchen-based content.

Teachers must ensure that content is uploaded into the correct category and accurately described so that users understand what the content is, who it is suitable for and what they can expect.

Pocket Power can move, rename, categorise or remove content where needed to protect the user experience and maintain platform standards.

5. Teacher Responsibilities

Teachers are responsible for the content they upload and the way they interact with users.

Teachers must:

  • Provide accurate profile information
  • Keep qualifications, insurance and professional details up to date
  • Upload only content they have the right to use
  • Make sure content is safe, appropriate and suitable for the intended audience
  • Act respectfully within the app and community spaces
  • Respond to users professionally
  • Follow all platform rules
  • Follow all applicable laws and regulations
  • Avoid making unsupported health, medical or outcome-based claims

Teachers must not present themselves as speaking on behalf of Pocket Power unless they have written permission to do so.

6. Qualifications, Professional Content and Insurance

If you upload content of a professional nature, you confirm that you are suitably qualified to provide that content.

This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Fitness classes
  • Exercise instruction
  • Yoga
  • Nutrition advice
  • Coaching
  • Counselling
  • Therapy
  • Meditation instruction
  • Breathwork
  • Mental wellbeing support
  • Educational health or wellness content

Where your content requires professional qualifications, licences, registration, public liability insurance or professional indemnity insurance, you confirm that you hold these and that they remain valid.

Pocket Power can request evidence of qualifications, insurance or professional status at any time.

If you cannot provide suitable evidence when requested, your Teacher account, content or upload access can be suspended or removed.

You are solely responsible for ensuring that your content is within your professional scope of practice.

Pocket Power does not accept responsibility for claims, advice, guidance, instruction or services provided by Teachers.

7. Content Standards

All Teacher content must meet Pocket Power’s content standards.

Content must be:

  • Original, or properly licensed
  • Suitable for a general wellbeing audience
  • Clear and professionally presented
  • Accurate and not misleading
  • Safe for users to follow where applicable
  • Aligned with Pocket Power’s values
  • Supportive, respectful and user-focused
  • Free from unsupported medical, health or transformation claims
  • Free from technical issues that would damage the user experience

Video content should be clear, stable and easy to follow.

Audio content should be clear, understandable and suitable for users listening through the app.

Where movement, fitness, food, health, emotional wellbeing or personal development content is provided, Teachers must give appropriate guidance, boundaries or safety reminders where relevant.

Teachers must not use Pocket Power as a place to advertise products, services, brands or platforms that are not approved by Pocket Power.

9. Music, Images and Third-Party Rights

Teachers must only upload content that they own or have permission to use.

This includes:

  • Music
  • Sound effects
  • Images
  • Video clips
  • Graphics
  • Written materials
  • Voiceovers
  • Brand assets

  • Any other creative or intellectual property

If music is used in any audio or video content, the Teacher confirms that they either own the music or hold the correct licence to use it commercially within Pocket Power.

Teachers are fully responsible for any copyright, licensing or intellectual property claims connected to their content.

If Pocket Power receives a complaint, claim or notice relating to copyright or third-party rights, the content can be removed immediately while the matter is reviewed.

10. Community Participation

Teachers are encouraged to participate actively within the Pocket Power community.

This includes:

  • Commenting on posts
  • Replying to users
  • Supporting conversations
  • Creating groups within the Hub
  • Sharing helpful guidance
  • Encouraging users to engage with their content
  • Building a positive presence within the app

The Hub and group areas are an important part of the Teacher opportunity. They allow Teachers to build trust, grow visibility, create meaningful relationships with users and attract users to their content within the app.

Teachers who actively contribute to the community are more likely to build a following within Pocket Power.

All community interaction must remain respectful, supportive, appropriate and aligned with Pocket Power’s values.

Teachers must not pressure, manipulate, shame, bully, harass or exploit users.

11. Pocket Power Tribe Facebook Group

Teachers are encouraged to use the Pocket Power Tribe Facebook group to support the wider Pocket Power community and encourage people to download the app and view their content.

Teachers can use the Facebook group to:

  • Introduce themselves
  • Share updates
  • Encourage app downloads
  • Direct users to their approved content inside Pocket Power
  • Support community conversations
  • Build awareness of their presence within the app

Teachers must follow the rules of the Facebook group at all times.

The Facebook group must not be used to redirect users away from Pocket Power to competing apps, third-party platforms or unauthorised paid services.

12. Promotion by Teachers

Teachers are encouraged to promote Pocket Power and their approved content through their own social media, email lists, communities, website and other channels.

Teachers can tell their audience that their content is available inside Pocket Power and encourage people to download the app to access it.

Teachers must represent Pocket Power accurately.

Teachers must not make false claims about Pocket Power, its features, its users, its reach, its earnings potential or its relationship with the Teacher.

Teachers must not suggest that Pocket Power guarantees income, followers, promotion, visibility or user engagement.

13. Promotion by Pocket Power

Pocket Power can promote Teachers and their content on an ad-hoc basis.

This can include promotion through:

  • Marketing campaigns

By submitting content and maintaining a Teacher profile, you give Pocket Power permission to use your name, image, profile information, biography, content previews, thumbnails, screenshots and short clips for promotional purposes.

Pocket Power is not required to promote every Teacher or every piece of content.

Promotion is decided by Pocket Power and can depend on platform needs, content quality, user interest, campaign relevance and brand alignment.

14. Monetisation, Donations and Payments

Teachers are not permitted to charge users for content uploaded to Pocket Power.

Teachers must not place content behind their own paywall within Pocket Power.

Teachers must not ask users to pay for access to content that is hosted inside Pocket Power.

Teachers will provide their PayPal link so that they can receive donations from users and payments from Pocket Power where applicable.

Pocket Power operates a monetisation model based on real user engagement.

Payments from Pocket Power are calculated using engagement-based measures, which can include:

  • Qualified plays
  • Listening or watching time
  • Completion rates
  • User engagement
  • Return usage
  • Positive feedback
  • Recommendation performance
  • Platform revenue allocation

Only genuine user engagement counts.

Pocket Power can disregard plays, views or engagement that appear artificial, manipulated, repeated, suspicious or abusive.

Pocket Power can withhold, adjust or remove payments where abuse, manipulation, fraud or breach of these Terms is suspected.

Payments are not guaranteed.

Earnings depend on real user engagement, platform performance, available revenue, payment thresholds and applicable revenue share rules.

Teachers are responsible for all taxes, reporting and legal obligations relating to any money they receive.

Pocket Power can update the monetisation model, payment method, revenue share structure, payment threshold or engagement calculation rules where needed to protect fairness, sustainability and platform operation.

Where significant changes are made to the payment model, active Teachers will be given reasonable notice.

16. Ownership of Teacher Content

Teachers retain ownership of the content they create and upload.

Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership of Teacher content to Pocket Power.

By uploading or submitting content, Teachers grant Pocket Power a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to:

This licence allows Pocket Power to operate the app, promote the platform, support users and maintain continuity of service.

17. Content Removal After Leaving Pocket Power

If a Teacher leaves Pocket Power or is removed from the Teacher Programme, Pocket Power retains permission to continue using and displaying their approved content unless the Teacher gives formal written notice requesting removal.

Once formal written notice is received, Pocket Power will have up to twelve months to remove the content.

This period exists to protect:

  • User experience
  • Programme continuity
  • App stability
  • Existing user journeys
  • Platform operations
  • Marketing continuity

Content already used in published promotional materials, screenshots, advertising, social media posts, press materials or public communications can continue to remain in use.

18. Editing, Formatting and Platform Optimisation

Pocket Power can make reasonable edits or adjustments to Teacher content for technical, presentation or platform purposes.

This can include:

  • Formatting
  • Compression
  • Captioning
  • Thumbnail adjustments
  • Category placement
  • Title formatting
  • Description formatting
  • Audio or video optimisation
  • Preview creation

Pocket Power will not intentionally change the meaning of Teacher content.

19. AI, PAPi and Platform Recommendations

This can include:

  • Content titles
  • Descriptions
  • Categories
  • Tags

This helps Pocket Power improve the user experience, recommend relevant content, support personalisation and develop platform features.

Pocket Power does not claim ownership of Teacher content through the use of recommendation, metadata, engagement or AI-related systems.

20. Breaches, Content Removal and Account Suspension

If content is found to breach these Terms, Pocket Power will remove the offending content.

If a Teacher breaches the Terms for a first time, the content will be removed and the Teacher will receive a warning.

If a Teacher breaches the Terms for a second time, the Teacher account will be placed on hold for one month.

During this one-month hold, the Teacher will not be able to upload or publish Teacher content.

Once the Teacher account is reinstated, any further breach can result in permanent removal from the Teacher Programme.

Pocket Power can remove a Teacher immediately without following the staged process where the breach is serious, harmful, unlawful, abusive, dangerous, reputationally damaging or poses risk to users or the platform.

21. Platform Integrity and User Protection

Teachers must not misuse the platform.
